Sweet 16 Party

The theme for this Sweet 16 party was Hollywood Glitz and Glamour.

As guests arrived, they were greeted by these tall arrangements of dark red roses, black feathers, bear grass, gold ting ting and some wheat-like greens that we spray painted black. These grand arrangements sat on black wooden pillars, which our husbands built and painted for us.

We had two different centerpieces for this party. The first were small square glass vases compactly lined with red roses. The bottom of each vase had black river rocks that we flecked with gold paint. The other ones were gold mint julep cups filled with dark red roses and black feathers.

We topped the cake with dozens of red roses.

A Fall Wedding

Each season inspires different color pallets and themes. For Fall, it's rich, warm colors, foliage and berries. We were lucky to work with this bride who had an exciting vision we could implement, and who also gave us lots of creative license.

The bride carried a large bouquet of Fall colored roses, calla lilies and an assortment of berries.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of mini calla lilies, roses, maple leaves, sunflowers, mini gerbera daisies, and berries.

This luscious 3-part arrangement hung from a hand-crafted copper arch. It is full of dahlias, roses, berries, sunflowers and maple branches in rich Fall colors.

We used a traditional white cloth aisle runner and scattered colorful maple leaves down the center for a nature-inspired look.

Large vases full of yellow kangaroo paw and red Chinese lanterns sat on pieces of slate at the base of the arch.

These pomanders hung from wrought iron shepherd hooks, which created a pathway for guests to the ceremony site.

These adorable centerpieces are made from pie pumpkins filled with roses, coffee berries, mini calla lilies, sunflowers, dahlias and more.
